Please read these Terms of Service carefully before making your purchase. By making a payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. 

Introduction:

By placing an order with My CV Writer, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions which are set out on this page. We recommend that if you disagree with any of these Terms and Conditions you do not place an order with us. From time to time we may decide to change these Terms and Conditions. Should these changes take place after you have placed an order with My CV Writer then the original Terms and Conditions at the time of placing your order will apply.

A contract with our service will only exist when My CV Writer has accepted your payment. Occasionally we may refuse an order without notice but will inform you within 24 hours of your order.

All prices listed on the My CV Writer website are subject to change without prior notice and My CV Writer does not accept any liability for this. Should our prices change after you have placed an order then the price at the time of purchase will apply. Should any of our prices reduce and you have placed an order within seven days of this action then we will happily refund you the difference.

All content on this site is the property of My CV Writer. Unauthorised copying is not permitted.

My CV Writer go to great effort to ensure the information on our website is accurate. We only provide advice and accept no liability as a result of inaccuracy in any of the information on the My CV Writer website.

Ordering with My CV Writer:

My CV Writer takes payment in advance. This is processed through our online merchant service PayPal or Bank Transfer. However, should you wish to pay by other means then please make contact to discuss alternative methods.

Should you place an incorrect order – for example, by selecting the wrong type of CV – then we will contact you to advise you of this and will arrange for any difference in cost to be settled. Should you not wish to continue at this stage then we will fully refund you minus an admin fee - see Cancellation and Returns Policy.

Once your order has been placed with My CV Writer, where applicable we will send you a welcome email inclusive of your questionnaire link. The questionnaire will extract the raw material needed to build a quality, engaging CV that will convey your unique skills, achievements, and motivations. Upon submission of your questionnaire and confirmation, all required information has been received, the new CV will be issued within five working days.

Your CV or CV Cover letter will be delivered back in Microsoft Word to the email address provided at the time of placing the order. Please respond to this email within five days if you need further assistance. 

1. If you would like to make amendments to your CV, update the document and return it to us within the above timeframe. 

2. We will proofread the updated CV and, if necessary, apply further formatting edits to ensure it fits correctly to the page length.

Please note: 

· If the information you provided in the questionnaire has been edited incorrectly and further discussion is needed, please highlight and/or clarify the factual mistakes that you feel need addressing and rewriting – in reply to the sent email. 

· If you choose to add new material that wasn’t provided in your questionnaire, you are accountable for writing this, but we will be happy to proofread an updated CV if it is provided within five days of this email. 

· If you choose to alter the structure, format, and/or approach of your CV, based on your own subjective interpretation – contrary to our advice – then you are of course free to do so, as it is your CV moving forward. We would still be happy to proofread your CV, but we will not rewrite it, and on the basis, it falls within the 5 working days.

Any additional services ordered – for example, LinkedIn Profile, Cover Letter, and Coaching session – will commence once we have received confirmation you are happy with the new CV if purchased in conjunction with a CV package

We do recommend that throughout the process of your CV/Cover Letter/ LinkedIn profile/ scheduling of your coaching session being completed you check your junk or spam folder. We cannot accept any liability for an order being sent but perceived as not received for this reason. 

We provide our services in good faith and orders are completed to the best of our knowledge by experienced CV writers. We cannot accept any liability should you suffer any loss or damage as a result of taking our advice.

Cancellation and Returns Policy:

Writing Project Holds

If you do not return your completed questionnaire within 30 days of placing your order, your CV will be placed on hold and no longer deemed a priority. At the point we receive the completed questionnaire, the turnaround for your new CV will be 8 workings days, as opposed to the standard 5 working days. 

If we do not receive your completed questionnaire within 2 months of receiving your order, your order will be considered forfeited and no longer refundable. 

Writing Services

Writing is a creative, personalised service, and we devote a significant amount of time to preparing well-written, high-quality documents for our clients. Our pricing reflects the time we dedicate to reviewing your documents, the writing, formatting, and revision processes. Upon receiving your order, we allocate time in our schedule for the writing process.

As such, our refund policy is structured on a time spent basis, as follows: 

- Cancellation within 14 days of purchase: A full refund will be issued.

· Cancellation before submitting the questionnaire, and after 14 days: A full refund of the total CV price, minus 20% cancellation fee. 

· Cancellation after questionnaire submission: 50% refund of total CV price

· Cancellation after the first draft has been delivered: Non-refundable

All refunds are in the form of the original payment: we cannot be held responsible for any foreign currency fluctuations that may have resulted between the time you place your order and receive your refund.

We reserve the right to cancel a client’s project and provide a full refund at any time, for any reason.

In the unlikely event you have a complaint or grievance about your order with My CV Writer please email rebeccapritchard@mycvwriter.co.uk – once received your complaint will be investigated and a response will be received within two working days.
